AJ FEUERMAN is Valhalla Entertainment’s Vice President of Publicity and Marketing. She oversees all publicity and marketing efforts for Valhalla properties as well as event execution and social media content.
A 17-year veteran of the entertainment industry, she has experience representing clients across the film, music, television, lifestyle, and tech industries. Most recently AJ was the Vice President of Communications for influencer marketing agency, QYOU Media, who collaborates with studios, gaming giants and popular brands on global content campaigns. Previously she founded @ajfeuerman Communications where clients included agencies, studios, content distributors, podcasts and others, including Valhalla, Freestyle Digital Media, Good Deed Entertainment, Tenacious D, Allied Global Marketing, Riverside Entertainment, Rogers & Cowan PMK and more. Prior to establishing her own consultancy, AJ was the Director of PR and Social Media for independent film distributor, Gravitas Ventures. Before joining Gravitas, AJ was an Account Director for 451 Marketing, a national agency focused on integrated communications campaigns on behalf of consumer products, lifestyle brands, startups and tech entrepreneurs. She was previously the Manager of Digital PR and Social Communities for AEG Live. In this role, she oversaw the implementation of social media strategy; online advocacy, community outreach, promotions, among other duties for local, regional, and national concert tours for artists such as Bon Jovi, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Kanye West, Katy Perry, George Strait and Bruno Mars.
Previously, AJ was a publicist for Think Jam where, in addition to developing and executing publicity and social media campaigns for 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, she served as the lead for blogger outreach programs. AJ also served as the PR Manager for Millennium Entertainment and was the corporate and consumer publicity coordinator for Crown Media Family Networks, owner and operator of Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel.
In addition, AJ is an Adjunct Professor in social media for UCLA. Her history with social media dates all the way back to 2002, when she began blogging, leading up to 2008, when she began an eight-year term with Social Media Club Los Angeles’ Board of Directors. She is additionally a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences as well as Film Independent. AJ earned her B.F.A. in writing from NYU and her
M.A. in communications from USC. She resides in LA’s San Fernando Valley, where she was born and raised.
