SYNOPSIS
EAST BAY, starring Constance Wu and Kavi Ramachandran Ladnier, is about several people in their 30s and 40s in the SF Bay Area trying not to admit they’re failures. It’s a very funny and deceptively intricate feel-bad comedy about the enormous pressure people are under to be happy and successful in this life, which for all we know might be a massive simulation.
